Configurable helmets/headgears like the Fast Helmet offer a range of attachments and accessories to enhance player capabilities and protection in the game. These include:

  • NVG Mount: Allows players to attach night vision goggles for improved visibility in low-light environments.

  • GoPro Mount: Enables players to attach cameras like GoPro to stream feed to colleges and command center

  • Flashlight Mount: Provides a slot for attaching a flashlight, enhancing visibility in dark areas or during nighttime operations.

  • Communication Headset Mount: Allows players to attach a communication headset for better audio communication with teammates.

  • helmets/headgears Cover: Players can add a helmet cover with camouflage patterns or Ghillie Cover for improved concealment or identification. Some covers may also reduce the helmet's heat signature against thermal cameras.

  • IFF or IR Strobe Attachment: Enables players to attach IFF or IR strobes for signaling or identification purposes.

  • Patches and Insignias : Helmet patches and flags can be added for identification or personalization.

  • Batteries: Some helmets feature compartments for replaceable batteries, ensuring continuous power supply to electronic devices such as night vision goggles, strobes, and lights.

  • Face Protection Masks: Attachable face protection masks reduce the risk of face injuries.

  • Tactical Goggles: Compatible goggles can be added for eye protection and improved vision in various conditions.

  • Inner Helmet Pads: Extra shock-damage-reducing pads provide increased comfort and protection.

  • Tactical Face Shield: An attachable shield provides additional face protection.

  • Ballistic and Non-Ballistic Mandible and Face Armor: Additional armor components can be attached to protect the lower face and mandible area.

  • Tactical Respirator: Options like the OPS-CORE SOTR offer respiratory protection in hazardous environments.

All attachments can't be used simultaneously due to compatibility limitations. Players must choose the attachments that best fit their mission and gameplay needs, considering factors such as mission objectives and personal preferences.

Also Each helmets/headgears may have specific compatibility with certain attachments, and players need to select the appropriate helmet or headgear that supports the desired attachments they want to use. This adds a realistic element where players must consider the capabilities and limitations of different helmets before choosing their loadout for a mission.

Modding Framework

  • Modders should be empowered to introduce new helmets/headgears in the game, complete with the ability to define attachment points for customization. Alongside attachment point definition, modders can specify various attributes for the helmets, including ballistic protection levels and weight.

Modders have the flexibility to define specific conditions, requirements, and processes for installing, replacing, or removing each attachment or part in the game. This allows for a more immersive and realistic gameplay experience, as players may need to meet certain criteria or follow specific steps to modify their helmt/headgear.

This flexibility allows modders to create a wide range of helmets, each with its unique set of attachment points. Players can then personalize their helmets by attaching different accessories, such as visors, cameras, communication devices, or even specialized sensors.

Furthermore, modders have the freedom to assign specific ballistic protection ratings to the helmets, reflecting their real-world counterparts. The weight attribute can also be customized to accurately represent the varying weights of different helmet models.

By granting modders these capabilities, the game enables a rich diversity of helmets and headgears, fostering immersive gameplay experiences and empowering players to tailor their gear to their preferred playstyle and mission requirements.
